Join Pak Navy SSC Eligibility Criteria
Both Male and Female applicants are to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to Join the Pak Navy as an Officer
Operations Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males
- Qualifications: Graduation with minimum 60% marks or
equivalent.
- Age Required: Up to 26 Years, however candidates
having age up to 24 years may be preferred
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches
- Rank: Ag S/Lt
Mechanical Engineering Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males
- Education: BE Mechanical with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or
above.
- Age Required: Upto 27 Years, however candidates
having age up to 24 years may be preferred.
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches
- Rank: Ag S/Lt
Supply Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males
- Qualification: In the supply branch you must have an MBA/ BBA (Hons), M COM, or MSC qualification with a minimum CGPA-2.5 or 60% marks
- Age Limit: Maximum age required is up to 26 years but 24 age holders will be preferred.
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches
- Rank: As per Pak Navy Plicy.
Weapon Engineering Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males
- Qualifications: BE /BS/BSC in Electrical/Electronics/Avionics/ with CGPA 2.5 or 60% marks.
- Age Limit: 21 to 28 years
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches
Ordnance Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males
- BE /BS/BSC in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/ with a CGPA 2.5 or above
- Age Limit; 21-28 Years
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches

Medical Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Married/ Unmarried Males and Females
- Qualification: BDS, MBBS form recognized institute
- Age Limit: up to 40 years
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches for males and 5 feet for Females
- Rank: Ag Surg Lt Cdr
Education Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males
- Qualification: MS/M Phil in English, Mathematics, Physics, Management Science, and Computer Science with a CGPA of 2.5 or 1st Division.
- Preferably having teching experience
- No 3rd division in academic career.
- Age Limit: 23-31 years
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches

Naval Law Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males
- Education:
- LLB/ LLM/ PhD/ Bar at Law (Member of the Bar must have at least two years practice in courts) with 50% marks or equivalent
- Age Limit: 25-40 Years
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches
- Rank: As per Pak Navy Policy
Special IT Branch
- Nationality: Pakistani
- Gender Unmarried Males and Females
- Education Requirements: Bachelor in Computer Science (BSCS), BE in Computer Engineering, Graduation in Software Engg (BSSE), Bachelor in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor in Information Systems (BSIS), Graduation in Cyber Security (BS CySec), BS in Computer Engg (BSCE), Bachelors in Artificial Intelligence (BSAI), Bachelors in Data Sciences/ Big Data (BSDS) (Minimum 16 x years education with CGPA 2.5/60% marks).
- Age Limit: 22-27 years
- Height: 5 feet 4 inches for males and 5 feet for females
- Rank: As per Pak Nay Policy
Selection Procedure to Join Pak Navy SSC 2025
To get entry into the Pakistan Navy as a commissioned officer through a short service commission you must pass some important tests with reasonable marks to come into the merit list.
After registration at Pak Navy’s official website, the candidates are to undergo a computer-based Intelligence test, academic test, and personality through an e-testing system. Applicants may get their test date, time, and venue through the registration slip/roll number slip. Initial tests include;
- Verbal Intelligence Test
- Non-Verbal Intelligence Test
- Academic Test
- Personality Test
Medical Tests and Interview
Medical tests for all candidates who have passed their intelligence and academic tests will be conducted in any Pak Navy Hospital, and interviews will commence in front of the Navy selection board.
Physical Efficiency Test(PET)
An important test that candidates are to pass to join the Pak Navy as an Officer is the Physical Efficiency Test which includes;

Personality test (PAT) for Medical branch candidates will be conducted at
respective Pakistan Navy Recruitment and Selection Centers PNR&SC.
Candidates who passed their all initial tests as per the merit list are forwarded to the Inter Selection Board(ISSB) to examine the individuals with more complicated tests.
The final selection will be made by Naval Headquarters after the final medical and interview.
Pak Navy Online Registration Slip 2025 for SSC
After registration for the Short Service Commission, the candidates must download their registration slip/roll number slip from the official website www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk. Roll No slip contains the test date, the test venue and the test time and it is required while entering the examination center. The merit list and results of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded to Pak Navy website to view and download.
